Wait is over. Review of Match Week 1.

Just wait is over. The worlds most anticipated league English league just started and as expectation top teams put their legs in their shoes.

Except Arsenal, all top teams made their win in the first week of this season.


Here are the some of the reviews of the matches of the first week..!!

Liverpool vs. Stoke City




After 4 years, Liverpool won his first opening day match in the league. In absence of main striker of Anfield Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge put his legs and lead Liverpool to win against Stoke city with 1-0.

New signing of Liverpool Simon Mignolet also gave a terrific performance and made 3 very important saves against Stoke.

The Game-Changers’ Last-Minute Goal which made “History” | “Golden Goal”


#1 2008–09 UEFA Champions League semi-final – Chelsea vs. Barcelona, 6 May 2009:




In one of the most controversial matches in recent memory, Chelsea went into the final minutes of the 2nd leg 1–0 up and on course to reach the final. Barcelona by their own high standards were poor on the night having failed to register a single shot on target. Chelsea had four penalty appeals turned down, and Barcelona had to play almost half an hour with ten men. Then, with the clock timed at 92:10, Andrés Iniesta scored for Barcelona to give them the crucial away goal that sent them to the final.


#2 2012–13 UEFA Champions League quater-finals – Borussia Dortmund vs Malaga, 9 April 2013:



After a goalless draw in the first leg, Malaga travelled to Westfalenstadion to face Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the quater finals. The game was heading into stoppage time after Eliseu had given Malaga a 2-1 lead in the 82nd minute when goals from Marco Reus & defender Felipe Santana sent Borussia Dortmund to the semi-final.


#3 2006–07 La Liga – Real Zaragoza vs. Real Madrid, 10 June 2007:



In the penultimate match of the season, Real Madrid were second in the table, losing 2–1 against Zaragoza and Barcelona in first, winning 2–1 against Espanyol, both in the 88th minute. In a turn of events, Ruud van Nistelrooy scored the equaliser at La Romareda. 17 seconds later, Raúl Tamudo also levelled for Espanyol at Camp Nou, claiming the title for Madrid.


#4 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group 9 – England vs. Greece, 6 October 2001:



David Beckham's 93rd-minute (92:43) free-kick levelled the game at 2–2 and ensured that England qualified for the 2002 World Cup as group winners.

Jones signed new contract with Reds..!!






Goalkeeper Brad Jones has signed a new long term contract with Liverpool FC.

This Goal Keeper made good impression on Manager and for his progress manger signed long term contract with him.

Jones is a 4th player who signed new contract under Rodger.Before him,Suarez,Skrtel,Agger and Shelvey signed also new contracts under Rodgers.

Liverpool keeping eye on Striker for Winter Window.


Liverpool wants strong their attack and for that their eye on two striker for Winter Window.

Liverpool has been set £20 million bid for Chelsea`s Daniel Sturridge and Blackpool`s Thomas Ince.

Rodgers also put a watch for Theo Walcott`s deal may be he is also interestrd for this Gunners to make the attack strong.

But both Manchester teams are ready for Walcott so there is doubt for Walcott.

Liverpool ready for take over Barcelona Striker.

Liverpool made mind to make with deal Barcelona`s striker Alexis Sanchez.

Liverpool`s Manager sent inquiry for Alexis.As Liverpool Performing in the League they also need one more striker who can decrese the pressure on Suarez.

Also Alexis did not get so many chances for Barcelona this season.

Joe cole confident to stay.


Joe Cole has confidence that he still has future in Liverpool.

Cole scored one and made another in Liverpool`s 2-2 draw at Anfield against Young boys.

Cole`s age turns over 31 and he had fine career with Liverpool.

Cole told that"I was a good player at West Ham,Chelsea and Lille and I think I can be a good player at Liverool"

"I`m getting stronger with every game.It is normal that a player wants to play all the time.It was my third game back from a hamstring problem and I felt good"

Chelsea slipped down in table.



BPL Review:
John Terry`s goal at 20th min and Suarez thrilling goal at 73 min was well enough for football lovers to enjoy sunday.
It was very close  game.both team put their best to won this battle.When match has begun Torres look nervous against his former club. but in first half Chelsea managed to get lead against Reds.
But Suarez who is in great form starts here also scored his 8th goal in this league and made equalizer.
John terry injured when Suarez`s full body weight landed on his knee.it look serious injury for Blues captain.
In short it was good football match.Chelsea slipped down after his draw match and city`s win.

Blues against Reds...!!

  • Chelsea aim  to get back to winning ways after defeated by The Red Devils and Draw against Swensea City.
  • Chelsea must need this 3 points against Liverpool.Where Liverpool also suffering weak performance in this season.
  • Luiz Suarez who 2nd poistion in scoring rate.Where the The Legend of Liverpool Steven Gerrard also in form for Liverpool.
  • If the chelsea will do it they stay on 2nd number in league table.
  • Fernando Torres did not score against Liverpool.
  • The Reds are the only side yet to score in the closing 15min. of a league game this season.
