Match week 1 : Day 2

After 1st day of 1st week 2nd day also exited from 3 top teams of the league. They provided a some good football to fans.

In between the talking of transfer Gareth Bale,Tottenham made his debut win. Chelsea also made his debut win with new manager Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea 2-0 Hull City



First competitive game for the newly appointed manager of Chelsea and gave expected result to their fans.

Legend of Chelsea man him self Lampard on the field of the first match of the season and unfortunately miss his first penalty at 6th min. 

But after that Oscar scored a goal in his style. After his Goal Lampard also scored his opening goal at 25th min.

Mourinho had said of his return to Stamford Bridge,"It`s my dugout,my stadium , my people."

Let`s see, where will he take his side this season?


Crystal Palace 0-1 Tottenham




Record Signing for Tottenham,Roberto Soldado scored his first goal for Tottenham.

Spurs were without Real Madrid`s favorite target Gareth Bale but were rarely troubled.

Crystal Palace was just out of them form. No chance to win against Spurs at that match.

At 50th min  Tottenham got a penalty and well used by new striker Soldado. He converted that penalty into goal and that was only one goal which was produced by him.


Manchester City 4-0 Newcastle United




Manchester City got a dream start of the first match of this season.

City won 4-0 over 10-man Newcastle United on Monday.That victory lead them top of the table of league after the first weekend of 2013-14.

David Silva opened the scoring with a header inside 10 minutes before Sergio Aguero extended the advantage with a neat finish from a wide angle. It got worse for Newcastle when Steven Taylor received his marching orders in first-half injury-time for striking the back of Aguero's head during an aerial challenge.

City's dominance continued after half-time as Yaya Toure marked his 100th Premier League appearance with a sublime curling free-kick and Samir Nasri completed the rout with 15 minutes remaining.
